Dr. Shah is a board-certified neurologist with specialty fellowship training in Movement Disorders. He is an Arizona native who grew up in the Ahwatukee area and completed undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. Afterwards, he traveled to New York to pursue medical school at NYMC followed by a residency in Neurology at UC Davis in Sacramento, CA. After residency, he had a passion to pursue further training in Movement Disorders and had the opportunity to return home to Phoenix where he completed his fellowship at the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s center at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Shah serves on the board of directors for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and is also one of the pioneers of the DBS/Parkinson’s specialty center in the East Valley as well as the East Valley NPH (Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus) Clinic.
Dr. Shah lives in the Ahwatukee region and enjoys exercising, sports, and traveling in his spare time.
